Updated Logo for Jessie B Designs – A Fresh Look for a Growing Brand

This refreshed logo represents the evolution of Jessie B Designs—a creative brand focused on delivering bold, modern design solutions across digital and print platforms. As my personal design style has matured, I wanted a visual identity that reflects not only where JB Designs started, but where it's headed.

The updated logo features clean, contemporary typography with a minimalist design that emphasizes clarity and confidence. The color palette has been refined to better reflect the brand's aesthetic—balanced, professional, and creative. Every detail was thoughtfully chosen to signal a more elevated and versatile direction, while maintaining a sense of individuality and originality.

Designed using Adobe Illustrator, the new logo works seamlessly across different platforms and mediums—from business cards and social content to client-facing documents and web design. This rebrand is more than just a new look; it's a symbol of growth, adaptability, and a renewed commitment to thoughtful, impactful design.

In order to represent my identity and certain aspects of myself, I used words that represent distinct parts of myself to outline a self-portrait. I had a selfie of myself as a reference and utilized the pen tool within Adobe Illustrator in order to outline the features of my face. I then used the type-on-a-path tool in order to use sentences and words to represent my features of myself. I chose a variety of different colors in order to create a realistic and telling calligram of myself.

For a recent design project, I created a mock-up packaging concept for Ela’s Sweets , a local dessert brand specializing in gluten-free treats. The project centered around a gluten-free cake and cupcake mix box , designed with a soft and inviting pink color scheme that reflects the brand’s sweet, whimsical personality. The packaging design uses varying shades of pink to evoke warmth, joy, and indulgence—perfectly aligning with the comforting nature of home baking. I incorporated clean, modern typography, playful illustrative accents like sprinkles and frosting swirls, and a clear product window to give it a premium yet approachable feel.
